Shifting Into Spring!

Spring is in the air and allergy season has began!

Although I’ve been sneezing my face off, the weather has been amazing these past few days here in Virginia and I’m so excited because I get to wear all of my cute warm weather dresses again! If you’ve been following my style journey, you know that I tend to wear more jeans than dresses. I don’t know about you, but I can’t resist a cute pair of Hudsons, rag & bone or J BRAND jeans—my closet reminds me of my denim obsession everyday. However, at the beginning of the year, I made a vow to wear more dresses in an effort to challenge my everyday style choices. It was time to break out of my comfort zone and diversify my wardrobe options. More dresses, less jeans.

That’s why I’m shifting into spring in this PAOM black & white shift dress that’s adorable and chic! I paired it with my yellow leather Joie biker jacket from last season (similar styles here & here) and my gray Sergio Rossi pumps. If I were wearing this dress without the yellow biker jacket, I’d add a red, green, or even colbolt blue strappy sandal or pump. When wearing neutral tones, I always add a bold color to elevate the look.

PAOM has some pretty cool designs created and sold by emerging artist sold right on their site. If you’re looking for unique silhouettes, this is the place tp go! Check it out and tell me who’s your favorite designer artist and what style you love most.
