J'adore Vermont! Cliff Haven Farms B&B

This summer our family holiday took place in Newport & Stowe Vermont. While driving around Newport Center, VT – just at the end of Lake Road– we stumbled upon Cliff Haven Farms B&Bsituated on 300 rolling acres in Vermont's beautiful Northeast Kingdom overlooking Lake Memphremagog. This 1800's farmhouse was renovated and offers four very spacious and private bedrooms providing guest with the most comfortable stay in a country atmosphere. Will and I stayed in the Chocolate Room–the master suite, located on the second floor of the house. I instantly fell in love with this room and decided to book on the spot! Upon entering the master suite, the first thing I noticed were the lovely french doors adorned with Native tapestries–given the decor of the room, makes you feel as though you've stepped back in time. With breath taking views in three directions you can step out the french doors onto a private balcony where you get Lake Memphremagog views from the front and garden views from the back.

Garden and lake views from the bedroom were only the beginning! Walking towards the back of the house, up a hill, you pass what looks like an old farm house used to make Cliff Haven Farms famous and delicious maple syrup! During our stay we were blessed with the chance to try some during our country breakfast prepared daily, with fresh farm ingredients by Mim. After our departure, we ended up taking a bottle home to enjoy the goodness of Vermont maple syrup, and to remember the goodness of Mim.

Take a look at the images below to see why we fell in love with this quaint B&B and why you'll fall in love too. I mean the views alone are worth every penny—actually, they're priceless...
